0.75 oz (30 ml) FEW American Whiskey
0.75 oz (30 ml) Aperol
0.75 oz (30 ml) Honey
0.75 oz (30 ml) Fresh Lime Juice

Lemon Twist

Glassware Prep: Chill glass in refrigerator, or fill with ice and soda water. Dispose of ice before pouring drink.
Integration: Combine all ingredients in a shaker. Shake and double strain into coupe. Garnish with lemon twist.

• Measure precisely.
• Peel swath of lemon always from stem to base
• Shake vigorously. “Don’t put the drink to sleep… wake it up!”
Sunset: To give this cocktail an extra level of extravagance, based on it’s name, try drizzling the Aperol over the other shaken and strained components already in your glass.

No Aperol: Substitute ½ oz Campari and ½ oz simple syrup if Aperol is not available.
No FEW American Whiskey: Any Bourbon can be used as a replacement. I recommend Buffalo Trace or Four Roses. Rye, aged rums or Cognac could also be a quite pleasing alternative.
